Åmål Industrial Museum

Visit Åmål's Industrial Museum, where you can experience how a family lived and worked in the 1920s. Large parts of the workshop have been preserved and look as it did in 1918. Here you will find both a large collection of hand-operated tools and interesting machinery. The Thorstenson family lived in a small apartment in the same building as the workshop, where you will also find a small office. All the furniture and other items date back to when the family lived here. On the top floor there is an exhibition showing a wide range of Åmål's industries from the 1890s to the present day.
