The facility is adapted for active relaxation and is suitable for those who want a relaxed SPA stay, out and active in nature or quality time with the family.
Here you will find SPA, massage, family pool, mini golf, tennis, playground, large areas of grass, beach, jetty, cliffs and nature, and several types of food and drink options.
There is free parking at the hotel. Electric car chargers are available and you pay with the PAIR RECHARGE app. Free wireless internet is available.
SPA Horizon
Here you will find a SPA with lots of facilities such as hot pools, various saunas, footbaths, light therapy, hot plates, ice therapy, massages and body treatments. A SPA shop is adjacent to the SPA reception with many fine products for both men and women, and there is also a relaxation room to relax and have a drink. The SPA centres are always included if you have purchased a SPA package, and admission can be purchased and booked in addition, subject to availability before or during your stay. SPA entrances also include the sea sauna on the jetty and entrance to the family pool. SPA Horisont always has an age limit of 16 years.
Big Blue - family pool
The facility also has a family pool with an indoor pool and, weather permitting, an outdoor pool. There is also a men's and women's sauna, whirlpool and water slide. No age limit, but anyone under 16 should have an adult with them in the pool as the pool is unmanned and has no lifeguard.
Food & drink
Breakfast buffet with omelette chef, lunch and dinner are served in the main restaurant Latitud 58°, in addition there is also the hotel's lobby which has a bar and a simpler food menu, as well as Sjöboden Udden which serves pizza with an extra touch on Friday and Saturday, and during the summer all days of the week.
Things to do:
- The area offers many activities such as training, mini golf, tennis, obstacle course, climbing frames, but also boat trips in the archipelago and hiking and cycling tours in the beautiful nature. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel.
- Take a short walk to Grebbestad with its cosy little shops and cafés. It was in Grebbestad that the singer and poet Evert Taube found much of his inspiration, which is also why he stands as a statue in the square.
- Visit charming Fjällbacka, perhaps best known as the town where Camilla Läckberg's books are set. Here you can enjoy the view of the archipelago from Vetteberget, where on the way up you'll also pass Kungsklyftan, the location where Ronja Rövardotter was filmed.
- An 11-minute drive takes you to the Tanum Rock Carvings World Heritage Site and the Vitlycke Museum visitor centre. A must if you are in the area to see a world heritage site with your own eyes.
- Eat oysters! Take the opportunity to taste the world's best! Every Saturday we serve freshly picked oysters and cook freshly caught crayfish on the jetty at Sjöboden Udden. This happens all year round but not during the summer period.
Did you know that the oysters outside Grebbestad recently received the EU's "Protected Designation of Origin" (PDO) label? Grebbestadostron is now the protected trademark for the European oyster Ostrea edulis, which lives freely in Grebbestad's northern and southern archipelagos. Grebbestad is also the mecca for the Oyster Academy, which organises Oyster Day and the Nordic Oyster Shucking Championship.
