Sønderhav Strand B&B is set in a spacious and fashionable villa with plenty of common areas. Whether you want to enjoy a cosy evening in the shared lounge, relax in the large sauna and jacuzzi, or maintain your fitness routine in the free-access gym, Sønderhav Strand B&B provides excellent amenities for a comfortable stay. You can also book a professional Thai massage for an additional fee.

The location of the B&B is truly special. Set directly by the Flensburg Fjord, you can enjoy lovely waterfront views and the peaceful coastal atmosphere. The Gendarmstien hiking trail is only 200 meters away. This historic trail follows the old patrol route of the Danish border gendarmerie and stretches for 84 km along the fjord, passing forests, beaches, and charming villages.

For those eager to explore beyond the immediate surroundings, there are many great excursions. The Ox Islands (Ochseninseln) are two small islands in the Flensburg Fjord a short boat ride away and great for picnics and nature walks. Flensburg is known for its charming harbour, vibrant shopping streets, and historic breweries. Visit the Maritime Museum or enjoy a stroll along the old town streets. Sønderborg is about 30 km away. This coastal town offers historical attractions such as Sønderborg Castle, a lively harbourfront, and excellent dining options. Aabenraa is known for its quaint streets and old merchant houses.

Rooms

Sønderhav Strand B&B offers three types of rooms. The Single or Double Room without Bathroom provides a comfortable stay with access to large shared bathrooms. The Double Room Plus is more spacious and includes the option of an extra bed, and features a balcony, while still using shared bathroom facilities. Lastly, the Junior Suite Deluxe features a private bathroom, a kitchenette, and a balcony. With a maximum of eight rooms in the villa, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay.
