The Foundation was founded in 1917 with the ambition of being a place for dialogue and openness. Here you can truly relax with activities such as silent meditation, held at the hotel every Thursday morning. There is also both a men's and a women's sauna. You can book an appointment at reception.
The town of Sigtuna was founded in 980 and was one of the first three towns in what was then Sweden. Sigtuna later became the seat of Olof Skötkonung, who was the first Christian Swedish king. Sigtuna's rich history means that the town has many attractions, including ancient monuments and many older buildings. Its location between Stockholm and Uppsala also means you can easily get to larger cities for a day of shopping and sightseeing.
