Zum Harzer Jodlermeister

Pension Zum Harzer Jodlermeister is beautifully located in central Germany in the small town of Altenbrak, not far from Thale and about 80 km southwest of Magdeburg. About the hotel

Pension Zum Harzer Jodlermeister is the perfect place to holiday and relax at the same time. You can choose how to spend your time, whether it's enjoying the peace and quiet on the terrace with a good book, playing a little table tennis or going for a hike in the scenic area. There is more than enough to do.

Start the day with the breakfast buffet in the Theodor Fontane restaurant and later in the day the Cecile restaurant offers good traditional dishes. During the summer months, you can barbeque outside and there is also entertainment provided by the hotel's owner, Andreas Knopf, who both plays and sings a repertoire of songs from the area.

When you book the hotel with Risskov, a massage is also included, which is carried out on the hotel's electronic massage machine, and can be nice after a long walk on the beautiful hiking trails. Room service is also available, and if you need advice and guidance, reception can help you with options and suggestions for activities.

Charming towns such as Thale and Quedlinburg, a UNESCOS World Heritage Site, are not far away and children will no doubt appreciate a trip to Pullman City Harz, a real Western town with plenty of drama in the middle of the Harz Mountains.

Rooms

The cosy guest house was renovated in 1999 and today has 25 rooms, all with private bathrooms with hairdryers. There is also satellite TV and a telephone in the rooms. You can choose between single and double rooms, and in the latter an extra bed can be added. 

The car park is 200 metres from the hotel.
