Introduction

The hotel is set in the beautiful Danish countryside, which offers a wealth of outdoor activities. In the forest you can go for a nice walk or run, or visit the Dyrehaven. Marselisborg Castle and Mindeparken are just minutes away. Here there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful gardens and various fountains.

About the hotel

From the hotel's Restaurant Marselis, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Aarhus Bay. The menu offers a variety of dishes prepared in the open kitchen. Restaurant Marselis serves a delicious lunch buffet with cold and warm dishes every day, as well as an à la carte menu. For dinner, the restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 18:00 to 21:30. The kitchen is closed on Sundays.

The hotel offers free use of the gym, swimming pool and sauna. Bicycles can be rented at reception for a fee. During the winter season, bicycles must be rented on request, as they are not available at the hotel but are provided by outside suppliers.

The hotel is non-smoking.

Marselis Hotel Aarhus offers over 200 parking spaces next to the hotel.

The rooms

The hotel has 163 rooms, all equipped with telephone, flat-screen TV, bathroom with hairdryer, and free wireless internet. The rooms are decorated in a maritime style with warm colours and good comfort. Some rooms are located in the cosy half-timbered house overlooking the forest. It is possible to add a room with a balcony/terrace and direct access to the outdoors. From these rooms you have a fantastic view of the sea.

If you wish to bring a dog, you cannot upgrade to a room with balcony/terrace and sea view. In addition, there is a surcharge for the dog.
