Hummeren Hotell

Hummeren Hotel in Tananger is located by the water and about 25 minutes' drive from the centre of Stavanger. Here you can experience several activities such as fishing and guided city tours. The location is among the best in Tananger compared to other hotels in the area. It all started in 1935 when Trygve Østbø started the Lobster Restaurant in the old fish factory where the hotel is located today. Today, Hummeren Hotel with its restaurant and bar is a popular meeting place for visitors as well as locals.

About the hotel

Hummeren Hotel has 30 rooms and guests can have breakfast at the hotel with freshly baked bread from 6:30 to 9:30 from Monday to Friday. The hotel also offers both free parking and WiFi. The hotel restaurant specialises in seafood dishes. Pets are allowed, but please check with reception first so they can prepare to welcome our more furry friends. Sea fishing is also organised for both adults and children, just outside Tananger and the fishing boats can accommodate between 4-12 people.
