Hotel Haus Duden is located in a historic building, the Bossigt Estate. Dating back to the 18th century, the complex was expanded in the 19th and in the 20th century and has been used as a hotel for decades. You can breathe in the history of the house in the main building with its elegant interior and many references to the founder of German spelling, Konrad Duden, who was born here in 1829. 

In addition to the comfortably furnished rooms, the hotel also offers meeting rooms and a wellness area with sauna. Here you can relax with an infusion or book a massage.

The historic city center of Wesel is worth a visit - especially the Wesel Citadel and the Berlin Gate, which was part of the Wesel Fortress. The Willibrordi Cathedral impresses with its five naves. A short drive away is Xanten, where you can visit an archaeological park with much to discover about the ancient Romans. Xanten is also considered the birthplace of one of the heroes of Germanic legends, Siegfried. On the Lower Rhine, however, you can also relax wonderfully in nature, whether cycling or hiking, jogging or swimming.
