The 3* Hotel Alter Kreisbahnhof is located centrally in Schleswig on the long Baltic Sea bay Schlei. 

Situated in a charming historic building, the hotel delights its guests with its unusual architecture. Here you find comfortably and attractively furnished premises and rooms. For breakfast the hotel serves a delicious dinner (the restaurant closed on Saturdays and Sundays).

Schleswig has a special history: the maritime city took its beginnings in the 9th century as a trading metropolis of the Vikings. Right outside Schleswig you can visit the impressive Viking Museum Haithabu. Where the highlights include one of the longest Viking boats in the world.

The city also has many other interesting museums and cultural institutions you can visit. Numerous stores invite you to shop, and the restaurant offers are also very good. 

In addition, Schleswig is perfect as a starting point for discovery tours to Flensburg, Kiel or even the North Sea, which is only an hour away by car. And if you want to relax, walks along the Baltic Sea beach are of course the best recommendation.
