About the hotel

Dating back to 1917, but renovated as recently as 2019, the hotel blends charming traditional décor with a modern touch.

The hotel has a lovely relaxation area with indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. Outside there is also a tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool.

The hotel restaurant serves locally produced food and is open for both breakfast and dinner. During the low season, the restaurant is closed for dinner on Sundays. Chef Morten Paulsen always selects the ingredients with care and according to the season. The environment is protected and the ingredients are sourced from local producers with short transport distances. That's why the potatoes come from the nearby village of Häradsbygden and the rainbow trout is freshly caught, straight from Lake Siljan.

If you want an active holiday, there are many excursions and attractions in and around Tällberg. Here you will find many hiking and cycling trails and there is also the possibility of cross-country skiing in winter. You will also find Europe's longest parallel summer toboggan run. There are also two golf courses within 10 km of the hotel. And if you have children with you on holiday, a trip to Leksand Sommerland is a must.

Bicycles can be rented at the hotel and there is free parking and a charging station for electric cars, which can be used for a fee. During your stay you have free access to wireless internet.

Rooms

The hotel has a total of 100 rooms, varying in size between 10 and 40 m². Many rooms have a view of Lake Siljan for miles. Half of the hotel's rooms are located in the restaurant building, while the other half are located in detached buildings and wooden houses in the hotel park.

All rooms have a private bathroom, TV, telephone and hairdryer.

Pets are welcome for a fee and must be booked in advance.
