About the hotel

In the heart of Southern Jutland, in the castle town of Gram, just a few steps from Gram Castle, the lake and the castle park, lies the beautiful and atmospheric Gram Slotskro.

The building has existed since 1673 and offers an atmosphere that can only be experienced in an old building with an old soul. The inn is now run by the fourth generation of the Schrøder family, who, with the exception of the period between 1984 and 2001, have been running the inn since 1913. Over the years, the inn has been renovated several times, all with great care and respect for the old building.

Delicious Danish food in a light and informal atmosphere has become a big part of the inn's backbone over the years. The food is prepared with a strong focus on local ingredients, and served in relaxed and authentic surroundings in the cosy restaurant. During the months when the weather is fine, you can also sit outside in the courtyard, by the large Elm tree, and enjoy your meal or coffee with a beautiful view of the castle and the lake.

A good and extensive buffet breakfast is served every morning in the cosy surroundings of the wing. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 10:00 on weekends and public holidays.

From Friday to Sunday, from 12.30pm, you can enjoy a delicious lunch, with both cold and hot dishes on the menu. From 15.00 the coffee bar is open. The restaurant opens at 17.30 and offers a wide selection of exciting dishes. On Sundays, the evening buffet is served at 18:00 (except during the high season, from 18 June to 6 August).

Parking is free at the inn and you have free access to wireless internet during your stay.

Rooms

Gram Slotskro has 26 lovely rooms, which vary in decor, size, style and atmosphere. All rooms are furnished with private bath and toilet and equipped with TV and radio.

You can choose between rooms on the premises or in the room wing. There are 7 rooms on the castle grounds, which are the oldest and have their own charming look and a wonderful view of the castle park.

In the room wing, which was built around 1980, the other 19 rooms are spread over the ground floor and first floor. All rooms in the wing with space for bed are located on the ground floor and have a nice terrace facing a green area and the sunset.
