Danhostel Sønderborg City was renovated in 2023, and has fine facilities that make the holiday a little more fun: Outdoors in the green, cosy area you can barbecue and play beach volleyball. If the weather is less appealing, you can enjoy yourself with a game of table football, air hockey or table tennis indoors. As part of the package, a delicious breakfast is served before the day's activities, and you can also order a packed lunch.

Those who love water can enjoy a dip at the beach Sønderborg Strand, which is only one kilometer away. After a short walk you are in Sønderborg town, with cosy cafes, restaurants and shopping. Don't miss the Universe Science Park, which entertains children and adults alike. There is no shortage of historical sights either: Gråsten Castle and Dybbøl Banke are great places to visit. Danhostel Sønderborg City has free parking, and the reception is staffed from 3 pm to 5 pm every day. You can easily check out with a key card at any time of the day.

The rooms are completely newly renovated and suitable for solo travellers, couples and families of four. All the rooms are equipped with good hotel facilities: Comfortable beds, TV, small desk, shower and toilet. You can also borrow a hairdryer and iron at reception, which also rents out bed linen if you don't bring it with you.
