Trentino-Alto Adige

The northern region of Trentino-Alto Adige lies in the Alps and is surrounded by Austria to the north. Throughout the area are small, cosy towns offering good Italian mountain food, art and culture. The area is best known for ski resorts such as Madonna di Campiglio Val Gardena, so it's a great place to spend your winter holidays with the whole family on skies, but also visit the stunning Alps in summer for an active holiday.
